The Award was created as a tribute to the memory of Paolo Dieci and his commitment to peace, the rights of every person, and cooperation between peoples in building solid partnerships.
The initiative – promoted by Link2007, the LE RESAU Association and CISP – is in its second edition and is aimed at Italian Civil Society organizations engaged in development cooperation, diasporas organizations and/or new generations groups that have managed to forge effective partnerships or are actually working in partnership to implement development projects or education for global citizenship programs.
The aim is to enhance and encourage partnerships between CSOs and migrant-led organizations and second-generation organisationsto spread information, communicate, implement a kind of cooperation for quality development that is effective, sustainable and of mutual interest.
We want to reward the best partnership: one that has seen people, with different cultures and approaches, engage together and work together, with the same values and objectives, in international cooperation for development, human rights education, global social and economic sustainability, justice, and peace.
