Description
This activity aims at protecting the human rights of migrants in transit in Bosnia-Herzegovina and directed towards the European Union.

OBJECTIVES
Provision of basic necessities (sanitary items, first aid and hot meals) and distribution of information.
Strengthening of the existing network of on-site services provided by local associations and the informal network of voluntary citizens serving migrants excluded from the formal and official reception and assistance network.
Activities
Outreach and contact with migrants.
Purchase and distribution of food and essential items.
Provision of hot meals in the cities covered by the intervention.
Output and results
Intercepting and supporting people in need during their migration path through Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Laying the groundwork to prevent major emergencies, such as those that occurred in Lipa in winter 2020-2021.
Creating functional mechanisms of coordination and collaboration between other national and international actors active in the country.
Creating synergies with other ongoing projects and interventions.
Supporting the local population in terms of active involvement in aid.
