The project has the general objective of guaranteeing the protection of the right to well-being of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations by facilitating their social and educational integration. Saharawi civil society is very much alive and active: indeed, all the actors of the camps detect a very high level of resilience of the refugee population.
The activities proposed by this project were elaborated together with educators and representatives of the Students’ Parents Association of the five Wilaya (provinces), with particular attention to inclusion and to the conditions of disability and children’s special needs.
The Parents' Association is an operating partner of the project and collaborates in the implementation of the activities, especially those aimed at families (comparison groups/focus groups), and awareness campaigns for the entire population on the inclusion of vulnerable subjects.
The project necessarily envisages close collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs which opens its buildings to facilitate the good implementation of the activities in every way, aware of the strengthening it will draw from them in order to perform its functions in the best possible way.
