Improving the peaceful management of natural resources in Hodh el Chargui
For a sustainable and equitable improvement of people's living conditions
Description
The project provides rapid investment and capacity building in sustainable management for the peaceful governance of natural resources within the framework of the DECLIC 2 Hodhs programme, which aims to contribute significantly to the sustainable and equitable improvement of the living conditions of the populations of the wilayas (provinces) of the Hodh El Chargui and Hodh El Gharbi in a context of climate change and vulnerability to crises.
This action aims to finance basic infrastructure and projects for economic development or concerted management of natural resources through investments supporting the peaceful management of pastoral areas and some areas with high social and ecological challenges.
In addition, the project encourages local conventions or by-laws for the management of natural resources, with a view to the peaceful management of pastoral areas.
