Joining technical, administrative and financial efforts between the Victims Unit and CISP to contribute to the reparation of Colombian victims abroad
Description
The project aims to combine the technical, administrative and financial capacities of the Unidad para las Victimas (Victims Unit) and CISP to contribute to the reparation of Colombian victims of the armed conflict abroad. The objective is achieved by supporting the local integration process of victims in host countries or upon their return to Colombia, strengthening the organisational processes of victims abroad and implementing psychosocial rehabilitation measures through a group emotional recovery strategy and, simultaneously, an individual psychosocial attention strategy.
This process of psychosocial rehabilitation of victims abroad is achieved through the implementation of the Emotional Recovery Strategy. It is therefore intended to provide assistance and compensation to victims abroad through processes of local integration, organisational strengthening and economic empowerment.

Activities
Designing the strategic plan and implementing it with the help of experienced practitioners
Implementing the application of the ICAMP methodology and map victims' needs
Training victims abroad, through the learning by doing methodology and provide psychosocial assistance to victims in Venezuela
Analysing, profiling and monitoring repatriated families and accompanying the repatriation process of victims abroad
Selecting and supporting projects for organisational strengthening and non-material reparation as well as providing technical and economic support to victims' organisations abroad
Analysing and preparing documents for the analysis of Colombian victims abroad
Output and results
400 victims involved in the Emotional Recovery strategy implemented through group strategy
Between 840 and 1050 victims involved in the group strategy and 420 victims in the individual strategy, in seven cities of four countries
Economic empowerment of 110 productive projects for the self-help of victims in their local integration process in Ecuador and Venezuela
30 victim families abroad accompanied and supported in their return process to the country
10 initiatives of victims' organisations supported in the process of organisational strengthening and implementation of non-material reparation measures
Drafting of documents analysing the situation of Colombian victims oriented towards specific public policy recommendations
